Also in Mongolia, the number of traditional newspaper subscribers is decreasing – in line with world trends – also due to the fact that many newspapers can now be accessed online. 45 % of newspapers have a website, 48 % a Facebook account and 19 % a Twitter account. Furthermore, the website makes 34 newspapers available free of charge.
