Mongolyn Medee newspaper was established in 1998 and was one of the first daily newspapers in Mongolia. Initially, the newspaper was established by former Member of Parliament and Director of Erel LLC, Mr. Erdenebat B. Some people assume that in 2008 the ownership was transferred to Mr. Battulga Kh, a member of the Democratic Party and former Member of Parliament. But in answering the MOM questionnaire employees stated that the newspaper is owned by Ms. Gantogoo S.
