UBS television, formerly known as “Ulzii” television, was established under Ulaanbaatar City Administration in 1992, and first aired on 15 September 1992. In 2002, the ownership of the television was transferred to the City Council, and was finally wholly privatized in 2007, after operating under a private management contract for three years since 2004. Ulaanbaatar Television LLC operates UBS I channel, UBS Global II channel, UBS III channel Ulzii television, TV zone weekly magazine, and VIP 90.5 FM radio.Ulaanbaatar Television LLC owns Ulzii Media LLC and Fortune Global LLC.
