According to the Public Radio and Television Law of Mongolia, the highest authority of MNB is the National Council consisting of 15 members. As of 2016, the members of the National Council include:B. Enkhmandakh, ChairmanBoard members: L. Purevdorj, D Oyun-Erdene, S. Myagmar, B. Zolbayar, D. Gooshookhuu, D. Tsendsuren, A. Armen, D. Nyamsambuu, A. Munkhbat, Z. Enkhbold, B. Batbayar, B. Galaarid, J. Soyol-Erdene, S. Sanaser. However, the administration of MNB is usually appointed with members of the ruling party. Consequently, if the governing party changes there are also changes happening at the director and management level of MNB and reportedly sometimes also on the level of journalists.
