Currently the website is ranked 67 of most popular online news sites by Alexa.com. The website distinguishes itself from other online news media through its regular analytical columns on hot issues in politics and society. To note is also that the website has a special column featuring innovative ideas and developments in Mongolia. The website was founded by G. Otgonbayar, B. Suvd-Erdene, E Munkhtsetseg, G. Ulsbold, Kh. Tuvshintogs and B. Uugansukh, which founded the NGO Khukh-Akh NGO as owner of the website. Today, the leader of the NGO Khukh Asar, G. Otgonbayar owns 40 percent of the company shares, while B. Suvd-Erdene, E. Munkhtsetseg and G. Ulsbold owning 15 percent each. These people used to work for the daily newspaper Undesnii Shuudan until they left the newspaper to establish their own media outlet. The website owners control the editorial policy and manage the website. The iToim agency produces apart from the website www.itoim.mn the PR magazine “Top Analysis”, trying to separate PR from journalism, according to the editorial team of the website.
